A children’s play area with a popular recreational fountain, a reflection pond with a waterfall, and a jogging trail meander through Sycamore Valley Park, which is located near Holbrook Drive and Camino Tassajara.

Eight picnic tables and BBQ pits are located near to the baseball diamonds (entrance on Sherburne Hills Drive). A new group picnic space close to the bocce ball courts has also been added, which can seat up to 65 people.

San Ramon Valley High School (SRVHS) was founded in 1910 and is located in Danville, a Contra Costa County municipality about 35 miles east of San Francisco. Danville and the surrounding agricultural communities of the San Ramon Valley began to experience considerable suburban expansion in the 1950s and 1960s. The population of the entire valley was 12,700 in 1960; however, following tremendous expansion, Danville now has a population of 43,574. The upper-middle-class suburban communities of Alamo, Danville, and San Ramon are served by SRVHS. San Ramon Valley High School has been and continues to be a source of pride for the community, having been named a California Distinguished School (1988, 1996, 2001, and 2009) and a National Blue Ribbon School (2002).
